Supply Chain Relationship

Ryosan operates worldwide, and ensuring a sustainable supply chain is one of our most important themes. We have established the "Supply Chain Code of Conduct" as an initiative to enhance the sustainability of our supply chain and contribute to society.

Supply Chain Code of Conduct

  1. Respect human rights and do not engage in inhumane treatment such as discrimination, harassment, abuse, and child labor.
  2. Prevent forced labor and unfairly low wages for employees, and prohibit excessive overtime.
  3. Provide employees with a safe, hygienic, and healthy working environment, and prepare and disseminate emergency response plans for disasters, accidents, and other emergencies.
  4. Promote the suppression of global warming and the conservation of biodiversity, and establish the environmental management system necessary for this.Promote resource and energy conservation, recycling-oriented business activities, and management of chemical substances in products.
  5. Comply with relevant domestic and international laws and regulations, and ensure fair trade and anti-corruption.
  6. Disclose information related to each of the above items in a timely and appropriate manner.

Request to Business Partners

We intend to inform our business partners of the contents of the above "Supply Chain Code of Conduct" and seek their understanding. We would appreciate your cooperation in our efforts to enhance sustainability.

Outline of Activities

Ryosan continued to check with our business partners to see if they were conducting their business activities based on the purpose of Ryosan's "Supply Chain Code of Conduct" and the same approach.

<Examples of activities>

We selected 33 major customers, 24 major suppliers, and 13 major contractors based on their annual transaction records. We conducted a review based on the information disclosed by the suppliers.
As a result of the review, there were no suppliers that posed a risk to the supply chain in fiscal 2022.
